Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) Solution
Amber Hall, headquarters of the 354th Fighter Wing at Eielson Air Force Base in Alaska, was originally built in 1952. In 2017 the Army Corps of Engineers approached ATS Alaska to provide Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) level of security for the hall. A SCIF is a secure location that has safeguards in place to protect against leakage of classified information. The ATS install included ethernet tunneling, intrusion detection as well as requirements for notifications within the SCIF space and that a 2-year event history be maintained.
